Can you do high school online in Texas? ›

Digital Academy of Texas (DATX) is a tuition-free online public school serving grades 5–12. We're dedicated to inspiring and empowering students through an education experience tailored to each child's needs. DATX is open to full-time Texas residents in grades 5–12.

No tuition is required for students to attend Texas Virtual Academy at Hallsville (TVAH). As an online public school, TVAH is a tuition-free alternative to traditional brick-and-mortar public schools.

Discovery K12 is an online platform and curriculum for independent homeschoolers. The curriculum is free for pre-k to twelfth grade, and includes all major subjects. You may use our curriculum any way you like: part time, full time and supplement to it.

The TXVSN Online Schools (OLS) program offers free, full-time virtual instruction to eligible Texas public school students in grades 3–12 who enroll in one of the TEA-accredited public schools approved to participate in the program.

Connections Academy schools are tuition-free online public schools for students in grades K–12. With the flexibility of a virtual classroom, students can get their high school diploma on their own time.

There are a variety of factors that colleges and universities look at during their admissions processes. In general, these factors aren't impacted by whether the student attended a traditional or virtual high school.
