Excel High School Texas serves students in the State of Texas with accredited online high school programs for grades 6-12. Our school serves students Statewide with over 100 online middle and high school courses designed to help students complete standard, honors, and AP high school diploma options.

When selecting an online high school program, you want to be sure that you select a school that holds Department of Education-recognized accreditation. Excel High School is regionally accredited by Cognia, the parent organization for the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC), and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI).

The relationship of TEPSAC with the State Commissioner of Education allows for the following activities related to accredited non-public schools:

  • Transferability of student credits earned in accredited non-public schools to Texas public schools
  • Recognition of teacher service in accredited non-public schools for salary increment purposes in Texas public schools
  • TEPSAC meetings held biannually with Agency liaisons to ensure the ongoing integrity and quality of the process
  • The listing of all accredited elementary and secondary non-public schools in the Texas School Directory

Next, you'll be asked to create your student account. This process begins with entering a valid email address and selecting a secure password. Following this, you'll be prompted to provide some essential information such as the students full name, date of birth, and address. On the last page, you will be asked to choose a security question.

This will be your portal to submit any previous academic transcripts, view vital account information, and navigate other critical resources. Excel High School Texas offers middle and high school for students in Texas and Nationwide:

Traditional Diploma – 22 or more credits, standard high school diploma. Students complete online courses required to complete the standard high school diploma. In addition, we encourage students to take the SAT/ACT standardized tests.

College Prep Diploma – 24+ credit honors high school diploma. Students complete the online courses required to complete the honors track high school diploma. Students are encouraged to complete SAT/ACT testing.

College in High School - Excel High School Texas offers a number of college-level courses that can be taken as part of the high school diploma program.

Students seeking a nationally recognized, accredited high school diploma should contact the Excel High School Texas admissions office at 800-620-3844 to discuss enrollment and graduation path. Courses are taken online and are entirely self-paced.
